Many Muslim Rohingyas who fled Myanmar went to other countries before coming to the United States. Some of those who have resettled in Philadelphia came from Malaysia, where they were denied legal status and were not allowed to attend public schools. To help those refugees adapt to their new home, the Muslim community in South Philadelphia --together with Christian volunteers-- hold extra-curricular classes for Rohingya children. Alam Burhanan reports.
