Do you have a bucket list that includes things like swimming with dolphins or riding on the back of an elephant?

Well, travel company Trip Advisor has banned ticket sales to attractions where travelers interact
with or touch endangered animals. The new policy includes coming into contact with captive or wild animals like dolphins, tigers and elephants.

Elephant rides are a lucrative business in Thailand and other parts of Asia. But travel companies such as STA Travel and Intrepid both stopped booking elephant rides in 2014. An article from the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society said, "Whilst Trip Advisor's announcement is a positive step forward, it does not address the issue of promoting trips to see whales and dolphins that are held captive in tiny tanks at facilities like SeaWorld." Trip Advisor plans to launch an educational site next year to teach tourists about wildlife conservation.
